Inspired Creative Writing Workshops

Has the universe ever nudged you to make a change? Well—that’s exactly what happened to me, and voila: Inspired Creative Writing Workshops was born.

I had been working in the same industry for many years. With my skills, effort, and flexibility, I should have been thriving—but as we all know, “should” doesn’t always equal “is.” After a few years of backslides, I finally started listening to the universe’s little nudges, and that’s why I’m thrilled to announce Inspired Creative Writing Workshops!

My initial need for change started with my blog. I realized I needed to step into creativity to be shown the right path—and now, here we are. These workshops are all about joy, creativity, and connection. They are designed to bring more light, fun, and higher vibrations into the world.

My themed workshops are centered around topics people are passionate about. Each session is full of writing tips, fun facts, exciting themes, and collaborative prompts—think Gilmore Girls, Friends, Motown lyrics, spiritual themes like mindfulness and manifestation, and holiday-inspired prompts. You don’t need to be an experienced writer—though experienced writers are absolutely welcome. My goal is to create a super fun atmosphere filled with inspiration, creativity, and community.

I have several workshops scheduled around the Detroit area at cool, inspiring locations and am hoping to add more very soon! I’d like to thank the following local businesses for helping me get started! Look at how perfect these environments will be for sparking inspiration.

Try my first workshop absolutely free this Thursday, October 9th, from 6:30–7:30 PM, at Sweetwaters Plymouth Green, 3393 Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. This event is Halloween-themed—explore a spooky local ghost story and enjoy fun writing prompts while sipping Sweetwaters’ amazing beverages and treats.
