Escape the Chaos: Reclaim Your Energy and Purpose

Have you ever gone through a phase where you felt completely burnt out and stuck in a never-ending cycle? It’s hard not to, especially when you’re constantly surrounded by noise and chaos. We immediately wake up, grab our phones, and are hit with gossip, drama, and headlines filled with violence, environmental disasters, and political messes. Some days, people gossiping about others are just being downright negative, and it is too much to take. It’s overwhelming. It feels like the physical world is trapped in a loop of negativity, with bad news and gossip piling up, faster and more intensely than ever.

No wonder I felt exhausted, drained, and burnt out. We’re living in a world where negativity, conflict, and chaos seem to surround us at every turn. And it wasn’t just the outside world—I carried it around with me too. The constant stream of information in my hands sucked me in, keeping me scrolling, clicking, and diving deeper into that endless cycle of bad news. Those constant distractions left my mind racing, and my energy spent. How could I ever find peace when I was constantly plugged into chaos?

And that was just the external noise. It didn’t even touch on the personal struggles I faced—work stress, relationship challenges, or the feeling of being stuck in a job (or many jobs) that didn’t align with my true purpose. Some days, it felt like I was barely hanging on before I’d even had my first cup of coffee.

I definitely felt that way in the past. I had jobs where I felt drained by the end of the day, stressed during it, and sometimes even started to dread the workweek before it had even begun. It wasn’t about being lazy or burnt out—it was just that I wasn’t passionate about the work I was doing. It wasn’t feeding my spirit, and I felt disconnected from my true calling. I used to beat myself up about it, wondering why I felt so off. But then, during a session with my soul coach, she helped me realize that the problem wasn’t me—I just didn’t have passion for what I was doing.

I had been following my spiritual path—doing inner work, sticking to my routines—but something still felt missing. My coach suggested I might find fulfillment leading workshops in an area I was truly passionate about. At first, fear and self-doubt took over. “Who am I to do that?” I thought. “I’m not an expert in this field. Who would even listen to me?” But my coach gently encouraged me, and slowly, I began to open up. She even suggested I create an invitation for a workshop that didn’t even exist yet.

The next thing I knew, I had an invitation, ideas for where to host it, techniques, an itinerary, and even a beginning and ending meditation. It was amazing how inspired I felt when I focused on something that truly brought me joy. I’ve always believed in signs, and on that particular day, the universe sent me one. I pulled a card from Gabby Bernstein’s Spiritual Junkie deck. I was feeling tired, frustrated, and a little down, but the card I pulled said, “My productivity stems from inspiration. When I focus on what brings me joy, my tasks become effortless actions.”

Hours later, I was planning a new venture I never would have imagined that very morning. Was it happening right then? No. But was I putting it out into the universe to see where it would go? Absolutely. And just like that, with some guidance from the universe and the incredible people in my spiritual circle, I got back on track and felt excited for what was to come.
